Lalit Soni was born on 16 April 1991 in Bhainsdehi tehsil of Betul district, his father Late Shri Kamal Rao Soni and mother Smt. Kusum Soni, being born in a goldsmith family, it was possible for him to be inclined towards jewelery and furnishings, Lalit Soni told That a long time ago his mother Mrs. Kusum Soni had suffered from paralysis and due to her condition, she had to stay with her mother instead of looking for a job, during this time she thought of making bass craft, although she had to do it since childhood. He was fond of making crafts and during this time he chose to do something different, the craft remained with him but the boss took the place of metal, he started working on bamboo crafts along with his education, doing this work with complete self-motivation.
He understood the nuances of bamboo craft and gradually his art began to become proficient, he acquired so much skill in the work that today, he is earning money through it, Lalit has carved a cough with bamboo in his art.
